JoAnn Borovicka is a freelance artist, author, researcher, and educator.
Visual art: She specializes in mixed-media works, large and small, that examine the heroism and complexity of simply being human.
Writing: Recently she has focused on capturing stories of coming of age and spiritual transformation in community. (Book coming out in January 2020: "Crossing the Line -- A Memoir of Race, Religion, and Change" by Richard Abercrombie and JoAnn Borovicka).
Research: A regular presenter at theology colloquiums, JoAnn explores the threads of agreement that run through all the world's religions.
Educator: JoAnn is faculty of the Religion Department of the Wilmette Institute, a global Baha'i on-line learning center. She also teaches mixed media art techniques in her home studio.
